Following last term’s hugely successful charity stretcher carry, which raised an impressive £602 for Scottish Mountain Rescue, the boys of Patchell’s House have once again set themselves an ambitious fundraising challenge.
This term, they have chosen to support Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) UK, a charity providing vital support to children and families affected by this rare neurological condition.
Boys and staff from Patchell’s House will be running, swimming, cycling, and rowing a combined distance of 541.29 miles- the equivalent journey from Patchell’s House at Glenalmond to Patchell’s Hut (Patchellhytta) in Norway. The challenge begins at 0900 hrs on Sunday, 1 February, with participants having until 2300 hrs on Sunday, 8 February to complete the distance.
This collective effort reflects the energy, teamwork, and commitment that Patchell’s House is known for and supports the important work carried out by AHC UK. If you can contribute, donations can be made via this link, and progress can be followed here throughout the week.

Thank you to everyone supporting the boys in this fantastic challenge.
