We were delighted to welcome golf author and lifelong enthusiast Colin Ramsay to Glenalmond Golf Course last week.

Colin, author of A Belter of a Caddie: Stories of "Edinburgh Jimmy", has spent decades immersed in the game of golf. A former low single-figure handicap golfer, he is a member of Kilspindie Golf Club and now works as a Pro Shop Assistant at Aberdour Golf Club. His recently published book celebrates the life of legendary Scottish caddie James "Edinburgh Jimmy" Rae through a collection of stories from friends, golfers and Ryder Cup players, including a foreword by Paul McGinley.

Following his round, Colin shared some lovely reflections on his visit to Glenalmond, praising both the beauty of the course and the warm welcome he received."A nice course, well looked after and in superb condition. Really enjoyed my day here and will be back."
