Many thanks to all members of OGGS who contributed to the wonderful present for retiring Hon. Sec. Mike Thomson, who handed over the reins after nearly a decade at the annual weekend in October.

Two engraved benches and a coffee table were delivered- the table to Golf House Club, Elie in time for the annual weekend, and the benches to Thomson HQ the following week- an early test of the new Hon. Sec’s organisational abilities.

I am happy to report that the table is of sufficient size and strength to cope with the retiring Hon. Sec’s trophy haul from the annual weekend!
