Floreat News |
In July, Lucy Elphinstone, in her role as newly appointed Warden, invited current and prospective parents from both the College and Craigclowan to join her for an informal reception in the beautiful riverside garden of the Taybank hotel in Dunkeld.
News of the changes had travelled fast, and a crowd of more than seventy gathered to hear the vision for Glenalmond. There was tangible excitement in the air, particularly when Mrs Elphinstone leapt onto a bench and outlined the plans to make Glenalmond once more the premier school in Scotland. The prospect of innovation in curriculum, investment in facilities, and transformational scholarships ignited much interest and enthusiasm, and it was clear that a new era for Coll had been established in the minds of our local parents who form the backbone of our community.
