Our musicians have achieved outstanding success at this year's Perform in Perth festival, the regional musical competition which has just taken place. With dozens of entries, it was another bumper year for Glenalmond pupils. This is exemplified by our musicians making up half of the entries for the competition’s prestigious Premier Prize.
We are thrilled to announce that three of our students reached the finals in both the Larg and Premier Trophy ‘Best of the Best’ competitions. Clem S was honoured with the trophy for achieving the highest flute mark awarded at the festival, while Izzy H achieved remarkable success by winning both the trophy for securing the highest woodwind mark and the Premier Prize for the best overall performance, a testament to her outstanding musical talent.
These accomplishments reflect the strength of our music program and these recent accolades at Perform in Perth exemplify our dedication to excellence in the arts.
