Dear member of the Old Glenalmond Golfing Society Community,

I am delighted to announce that our guest of honour at the Society’s Annual Dinner for 2025 will be Gavin Hastings OBE.

Gavin is a former Scotland and British & Irish Lions rugby player. He played ten seasons of International Rugby as an amateur, whilst working for much of this time as a Chartered Surveyor with CBRE.  After retiring from rugby, he started his own sports marketing and events management business and worked successfully to bring a number of high profile events to Scotland, including the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. He is currently the Chairman of Hastings Investment Management, and is a keen golfer – particularly on the links of East Lothian.

We hope to be joined by the Captain of the Golf House Club and the College Warden, Mark Mortimer. The Golf House Club have just celebrated its 150th anniversary, and of course the College has recently undergone some major changes, so we look forward to hearing about those.

Dates: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October 2025, with the Annual Dinner on Saturday 11th, 6:30pm for 7pm

Entries Open: Friday 1st August at 9am. OGGS members should use the website link, which will be provided in a reminder email. Any non OGGS members who wish to attend should contact the Hon Sec on secretary@oldglenalmondgolf.co.uk directly.

Those who are under 30 can benefit from half price golf and dinner during the weekend.
