The Old Glenalmond Rifle Club has a proud history spanning many decades and counts among its members several current international shooters, alongside a much larger number of former international competitors.
The Club is approved by the Home Office and is affiliated with both the National Rifle Association and the Scottish Rifle Association. Target rifle shooting is one of the few sports in which men and women compete on equal terms, and where age is no barrier to participation or selection. Whether you're just leaving Glenalmond or have been an Old Glenalmond pupil for many years, the Club offers an excellent opportunity to continue developing your shooting and remain part of the wider College community.
The Club actively supports current pupils and OGs under the age of 25 who are in full-time education by sponsoring those competing at the Imperial Meeting at Bisley.
For anyone leaving the College, or young OGs wishing to continue their interest in full-bore or small-bore target rifle shooting, membership of the Old Glenalmond Rifle Club is strongly encouraged.
