Cricket at Glenalmond has long been regarded as being played on some of the most picturesque grounds in the country. During the summer term, cricket takes centre stage as the College's principal boys' sport, with the 1st XI regularly competing against some of the strongest schools in Scotland.

The Old Glenalmond Cricket Club, known to many as the OG Rovers, keeps that tradition alive by bringing former pupils back to the College each year. The highlight of the calendar is the annual fixture against the College 1st XI, a closely contested match that has become a much-loved tradition.

Whether you still play regularly or haven't picked up a bat for years, the Club is always keen to welcome OGs back onto the field. Players receive an OG playing shirt and cap, and the day is as much about catching up with old friends as it is about the cricket, with a BBQ during the match.
