Sport has always been at the heart of life at Glenalmond, and hockey is no exception. From the Under 14B team through to the 1st XI, generations of pupils have developed their skills, forged lifelong friendships and enjoyed playing one of the College's flagship sports.

Keeping that hockey legacy alive within the OG community is an important part of the Club's mission. The OG Hockey Club currently plays an annual fixture against the College, with the long-term ambition of expanding the fixture list to include other former-pupil teams from rival schools.

The annual match against the College is a fantastic opportunity to return to Glenalmond, catch up with fellow OGs, enjoy lunch and take to the pitch once again. The match is played on the College's Olympic-standard, water-based astroturf pitch, providing exceptional playing conditions and making Glenalmond one of the finest venues for hockey.

Playing kit is provided, including specially designed Old Glenalmond shirts, and everyone is welcome. There are no age restrictions, and whether you left the College last year or 40 years ago, the emphasis is on enjoying the game, reconnecting with old friends and keeping the Glenalmond hockey community thriving. Ladies and gentlemen of all playing abilities are encouraged to get involved.
